Fiberglass baffle panels are important for municipal and industrial water and wastewater systems, retention basins, and aeration and contact chambers. FRP baffles are lightweight and easy to install, especially ideal for retrofitting existing systems. The life cycle of fiberglass panels is much longer than wood, concrete and other traditional materials that are subject to rot and corrosion, so they are much more cost effective in the long term.

Materials of Construction

Fiberglass baffle panels are pultruded with a polyester resin system, featuring a UV inhibitor, and the glass reinforcements are covered by a surfacing veil for enhanced corrosion resistance and additional UV protection. Class 1 ASTM E-84 rating, vinyl ester and a special resin system to meet NSF 61 requirements also are available. FRP baffle panels are available in 12" and 24" widths.
