Fiberglass Architectural Handrailing Systems. STRONGRAIL® architectural handrail systems are strong, safe and attractive. Made with top-notch pultruded fiberglass components, these structurally solid railing systems feature molded thermoplastic connectors. Strong Handrail is particularly well-suited to corrosive environments like those found in commercial structures with urban and salt air corrosion.

Ease of Assembly
Architectural FRP Handrail Systems feature lightweight sections that include both post and rail. Handrail Fiberglass Systems can be built in large sections for easy set-up or sent in pieces for installation on site with simple carpenter tools.

Aluminum and steel handrail systems corrode in the elements, but fiberglass railing, with molded-in color, is corrosion resistant and requires virtually no maintenance.

 

UV Coating
All frp railing is coated with an industrial grade polyurethane UV coating to protect from UV damage and wearing. A polyester resin system is integral to architectural handrail, and other types of resin are available upon request.

A house in Topsail Island in North Carolina has been fitted with an architectural handrail system. STRONGRAIL® was chosen for its engineered wind-load strength, durability of finish and attractive appeal to homeowners, designers and builders.

 

The home features over 500 feet of composite handrail. Square pickets with rounded handrail in 36" and 48" heights were selected to outline the wrap-around porch, sun-deck and entrance stairways. Lightweight handrail sections were prefabricated and shipped ready to install. The installation required only three men and three days! A full return on investment was made in less than three years.
